C-Swell Yellowseal Sheet Material - 100% Solvent Free - Made in the USA for us by InterFace Solutions.

Featured Product - November 2009    C-Swell Yellowseal Proprietary Sheet

This is a new material for an entirely new level of sealing. C-Swell Yellowseal is manufactured for us by InterFace Solutions. After two years of discussions and development, we are thrilled to present this very advanced, Solvent Free, Hydro-fused, compressed sheet with a primary highly cross-linked nitrile polymer as the backbone to this sheet and a secondary polymer that will give us a controlled swell in oil and fuel use. We have been developing this sheet primarily for the rail and marine engine market to provide better loading in service applications where bolt loads are not always sufficient. This material will expand or swell into worn flanges to aid in better long term sealing. Because this is a solvent free sheet made with a high-end nitrile polymer as its base, the gaskets cut from this material will have extremely long shelf and service life with the goal of “overhaul to overhaul”. People familiar with the high-end quality products made by InterFace Solutions here in the United States will know the quality of this sheet. We believe that it will become the workhorse material in our product line and will be the recognized workhorse material in the industry in the years to come.

We carry a large and diverse inventory of most of the popular non-asbestos compressed sheet materials, rubber sheet of various polymers from red rubber to Viton®, graphite sheet in plain form or with inserts, Teflon® (hard and soft, virgin and filled), vegetable fiber and beater add roll stock. We can provide it in sheet form to your specifications or cut it to any shape you require.

MPRC Advanced Sheet Gasketing:

Over the last 20 years MPRC has worked with four different manufacturers to developed two specific sheet materials that would out- perform many of the existing materials available today. We are constantly researching new way to incorporate any new innovations into our sheet products as they become available. Working with MPRC’s proprietary sheet materials insures that you are working with the one of the best stocks available. Our goal has always been creating superior material to help you achieve longer life cycles, reduced maintenance and realize lower operating costs. Please see our Advanced Materials section for additional information.

Style 7500 General Service Sheet Gasketing:

Used in general service across all industries, this compressed synthetic fiber, non-asbestos material will handle continuous operating temperatures up to 400°F. It is a good general service sheet for oils, gas, hot and cold water, and aliphatic hydrocarbon service with a 40% recovery and 21% creep relaxation. It is off-white in color, has a nitrile binder and aramid fibers.

Style 7800 Premium Grade Sheet Gasketing:

When you need the best, this is it. It is also a nitrile bound compressed multi-fiber, non-asbestos sheet and is designed for more severe service, higher temperatures to a maximum of 800°F., with continuous service at 550°F.

This sheet was originally designed for refinery and chemical service, with operating pressures of 2,000 psi, a recovery of 50% and creep relaxation of 15%. This sheet is yellow in color and from its proven performance in process industry, is now making a reputation in the rail and marine engine aftermarket. It adapts well to heavy thermo cycling, high vibration, diesel oil, and fuel, and shows high torque retention for fasteners. It is yellow in color.

Styles 7500 & 7800 stock sizes for all your applications:

Both of these are stocked items in thicknesses of 1/64”, 1/32, 3/64, 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8”.  Standard sheet sizes are 60” x 60”, 60” x 120” and 60” x 180”. We will cut any size or shape of gasket for you from these materials and we also stock all of the standard ANSI ring and full-face gaskets for immediate delivery.
